Talk of the Town: MJ Memorial Singer Revealed
Among the tears and the memories of Michael Jackson’s memorial on Tuesday most people were buzzing about the young Blasian woman who ended the performances with MJ’s heartfelt song, “Save the World”. By early Wednesday afternoon the young singer was revealed as Judith Hill.
Hill has performed before in Europe and was slated to be a singer on MJ’s “This Is It” tour. She is of Black and Japanese heritage. Growing up biracial Hill described herself as being a misfit depending on the social group and for some she was either “too Black” “too Asian” “too loud” or “too quiet”. “I was a traveler, kind of a drifter,” Hill said. ” But, looking back I see how all of those experiences, friends, and cultures made me who I am today.”
To find out more about Judith Hill or to listen to her music you can check out her website or her myspace page.

I loved her singing as she performed fantastically. I know they did not have long to rehearse but she brought it didn’t she. Now Judith will be a household name. It should not be too long before the recording companies come calling. I am happy for her. Thanks for posting.
