Minority Discrimination Dwindling, Everything Else Rising
The Pew Center for the People and the Press just released a new surveythat shows 53% of Americans feel that we are making progress in the category of racial discrimination.
But other pertinent topics such as cost of living, job availability and the gap between the poor and the rich we are losing ground.
5% of people asked believed that we are making progress with good paying job while 72 percent felt that we are losing ground.
There are partisan differences when looking at issues. Democrats have a bleaker outlook about class issues and job availability with an average of 69% feeling we aren’t moving ahead on them. On similar issues only 46% of Republicans feel the same.
