Who Rocks it Better? Super Junior vs PumaShock

with 5 comments

The song is addictive any way you slice it.  Here’s the original by K-pop band Super Junior:

And the contender, PumaShock

For me it’s a toss up, they both make me want to get up and dance.

  1. What is up with 9 or more members of the group? I can see with actual band members who play instruments, but sheesh. I think Big Bang, DBSK and Shinhwa was enough but all these people make my eyes crossed trying to analyze each individual member. Look at SNSD. Some black American choreographers are making bank in Korea and Japan is all I got to say.

Don’t get me wrong, I think these guys in Super Junior actually sound good. But I have to give it to my girl Natalie aka Pumashock.

  2. I’ve been wondering myself why S. Korean groups feel compelled to create an army to sing a song. I don’t think there are black choreographers in this; for the last few years S. Koreans have taken over hip hop dance and in competitions they are number one.

Black choreographers really need to run over to India and hook up the bollywood films. LOL

  3. I actually like SJ’s version. I don’t like this remix done by Natalie. Instead of adding to it, she took away something from the song. So I’d pick SJ over her version any day. I like Natalie but I don’t like all her stuff.
